Student life. Cultivating maturity through independence and responsibility.

At Tahoe Prep our students are poised for a positive transition into college as our dorm life and facilities mimic that of a collegiate environment. Our High School years are the most memorable times of our lives so we encourage our students to make the most out of each day and their time at the Academy. This approach allows our students to be better prepared by learning to be self-reliant, self-motivated and more responsible in their community.

On ice development. The foundation of our Academy.

They say that nothing in life comes easy. For that matter we wake up everyday in the pursuit to make you better. A better skater, a better stickhandler, passer, scorer, defender, goalie, and overall better threat on the ice. It isn't easy, but life after youth hockey isn't going to be easy because it's meant for those who put in the time on the ice, in the gym and have the confidence and composure to get the job done. If you want to stand out amongst the crowd you have to stop doing what the crowd does. It's time to be selfish and start charting your future.

Team systems are great for teams, but lack the individual improvement necessary to improve a player's skill set.

Teams don't get drafted, players do. It's time to become the player you've always wanted to be..
