Tahoe Prep Academy is the west coast's only boarding school dedicated to the sport of ice hockey. Based on this fact, we admit a limited amount of students annually from a large selection of qualified applicants. All interested student-athletes are encouraged to submit an application as early as possible to begin the admissions process.

SCHEDULE A TOUR

What better way to see what we do than to schedule "A Day in the Life" and participate with our study body. Students are able to immerse themselves into our daily activities, practice with the team, tour our school and truly see what being a Tahoe Prep Academy student-athlete is all about.

DECISION OF ENROLLMENT

A notification of a pending enrollment decision will be sent directly to the applicant. For those applicants that are offered admission to Tahoe Prep Academy, a Letter of Intent and Tuition Enrollment Agreement will be sent and a FACTS account established to begin financial payment.

Yes, we offer a limited amount of scholarships.  Recipients are selected based on an academic, athletic, character and financial review.

Yes. Tahoe Prep Academy has a limited number of spaces available for our U16 and U18 teams. We receive applications from throughout North America and Europe so spots fill quickly.

We look for student athletes who have a strong work ethic, are disciplined in their studies, possess good character and are a positive role model in their community.

Tahoe Prep Academy is open to all high school aged student athletes in grades 9 through 12, and are still currently age eligible to compete at the U18 level through USA Hockey.
