U16 Head Coach
Coach Wayne Ravdjee brings an extensive background in hockey as both a player and coach, with experience spanning multiple competitive levels. His playing career includes time in SCAHA, Tier 1 AAA, junior hockey in the NAHL and AJHL, and professional play in Sweden’s Division 1.
Drawing on this diverse background, Coach Ravdjee has developed a coaching philosophy centered on player development, teamwork, and a positive, inclusive environment. He emphasizes growth both on and off the ice, focusing on skill refinement, discipline, and a lasting passion for the game.
Coach Ravdjee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, which complements his leadership style and enhances his ability to connect effectively with players, families, and staff.
Currently serving as Head Coach at Tahoe Hockey Academy, he is dedicated to preparing student-athletes for success at the next level through a structured, competitive, and character-driven approach.
His recent accomplishments include leading the Burbank Cougars to back-to-back Championships in the LA Kings High School Hockey League (2023–24 and 2024–25 seasons).
