The Tahoe Hokey Academy is the only residential boarding school dedicated to the sport of ice hockey in California. Founded in 2016, our goal is to provide our student-athletes with the time and resources to enhance their academic and athletic developmental journey.
Our commitment to forming partnerships with our students, and through communication, assessments, and implementing strategic planning, ensures each student-athletic clients can reach their short term, and long term goals.
Individual Skill Set Development
Any advancement to the next level of hockey requires an advanced comprehension of the hockey fundamentals. We offer a structured approach to refining the core aspects of skill development that is centered on the individual hockey player first and foremost.
A Balanced Academic Schedule
Time constraints associated with juggling academics and athletics can hinder or slow development. We provide a daily schedule that allows our student-athletes the time necessary to thrive in the classroom, and on the ice instead of sacrificing one aspect for the other.
A Commitment to Growth
Our students are provided the room to grow and develop independence as they prepare for college life. Mentoring, and fostering positive relationships allows our students to learn more about the world they live in while how they can be a positive impact.
