Shaping the future of our student athletes
Founded in 2016, the Tahoe Hockey Academy is the first and only residential boarding school dedicated to the sport of ice hockey in California. Our goal from day one is to form partnerships with our student-athletes in order to create a development plan that helps foster growth both in the classroom and on the ice. Since every student-athlete is unique in their stage of development, we focus on each individual and what they need for improvement instead of a “one size fits all” approach.
At the Tahoe Hockey Academy we want all of our student-athletes to take charge of their personal development. In doing so we strive to provide them with the tools necessary so that they are able to obtain their short and long term academic and athletic goals. This partnership culminates with a more well rounded, independent, and confident student-athlete who is better prepared to handle the challenges associated with college life and their future work force.

Whether setting sights for Junior hockey, or beyond each athlete is providing knowledge of the various leagues outside youth hockey to determine the best path for them.

Your growth begins with you. Players partner with our staff to develop. and take ownership of their personal development to best be prepared for life outside of the program.
Quantifiable results, in the classroom, or on the ice require a dedicated student athlete and support staff.
Each student-athlete is at a different stage of their development, long term goals, and overall progress. Working with each student and implementing a plan which is specifically designed for them ensures a more targeted approach in reaching their goals.
