Our story and mission: to assist in each student-athletes overall development and to unlock new ways to reach their ultimate potential.
Established in 2016, the Tahoe Hockey Academy was built on a very simple premise. Our goal was to eliminate the hurdles associated with pursuing advanced athletic development without sacrificing a student’s current and future academic standing. This balanced approach provides the time necessary to focus on the fundamental aspects of each student’s hockey skills, while offering a better balance in the time needed for their academics.

Overcome the Time Issue.
At the Tahoe Hockey Academy our students are no longer subject to those traditional late night practices, or long drives to and from their rink that take away from their academics. The by-product of this approach is being able to access more available time.
We believe that if our student-athletes have more time to apply to their academics, in conjunction with more time to develop their hockey skills, they’ll enhance their chance to thrive throughout their high school years more so than simply trying to survive.
