Decisions of this magnitude should never be taken lightly.  For that matter we welcome your questions in order to provide with as much information possible so that you can make the best informed decision for your son.

No.  Our students reside in our dorm facility along with our Resident Advisors and Director of Student Life.  

No.  We offer in class learning with a small student to teacher ratio that allows better retention and comprehension.  Students are also able to take honors and AP classes in preparation for college.

No.  Our development model is designed around a personalized plan tailored to each player.  We are on the ice roughly 5 days a week for 9 months so we believe the player you are on day one, won't be the player you'll be at season's end.

Our school year begins in the month of August and concludes the following May.

Similar to NCAA institutions, our academics, athletics, and strength training all take place throughout the morning and afternoon hours.  This frees up valuable time for studying, rest, recuperation, and the ability to enjoy time spent with friends.

Let us introduce you to our Program and provide some insight into what we do for our student-athletes.  This is a great way to learn if our program is a good fit for you, and address questions regarding our academic, athletics and student life programs.

Book an in person visit

Many of our perspective students schedule a trip to South Lake Tahoe to see our dorms, rink and academic facilities. This allows both parent and student to get a feel for what life may be like in the event they attend the Academy.

STEP 3

Experience the program

What better way to experience the program than to immerse yourself in our day to day activities.  Participants are able to train for a day with our coaching staff and get to know our methods, our approach and how we can assist in your son’s overall development.
