Tahoe Prep Academy began in 2016 as California's first residential boarding school dedicated to ice hockey. In August of 2020 we are pleased to be bringing our proven, individual development concept to the sport of woman's volleyball. With academics being of utmost importance, we ensure ample time both in the classroom and on the court with up to 300 hours of development training. Our student-athletes graduate with the technical skills, game-level IQ, and the strategic awareness that is crucial to succeeding at the next level. Furthermore, by training like a collegiate program, our Academy’s graduates are better suited for success at the college level by having the qualifications and skill set to match.
• 300 hours of on court development
• Indoor and sand program
• World Class Strength and Conditioning Facility
• NCAA Accredited Academics
• Individual Development Program
• Continuous High School and Club Program
Tahoe Prep Academy incorporates a 10 month training regimen upon entry into the academy. Students move into the academy in August and with the exception of holidays, film, competition and travel days are on the court daily. Both indoor and sand training will be utilized until late October, when the weather only permits indoor development. All aspects of fundamental training provides a foundation that enables our athletes to compete with confidence and structure. Learning the right way through knowledge, repetition, and situational awareness allows our athletes the ability to not only possess the intangibles, but showcase them when it counts.
